Corey is a Dillsburg native. He attended Northern York High School where he was a four-time Mid Penn
All Star in Baseball and a three-time in Football. As a Senior at Northern York, he was the Mid Penn
Colonial Division MVP and Big 11 middle infielder. After High School, he furthered his academic and
baseball career by attending The Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He was a two-time All-
Conference Pitcher, All-Region Honorable mention and voted Team Captain his Senior Season. He was
also a member of IUP’s 2010 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Division Championship
team. After graduating from IUP in 2011 he pursued a career in the Occupational Safety and Health field
and currently resides in East Berlin, Pa
ALEX
ALEX GETT, PT, DPT, CSCS, RSCC, USAW-1
Alex is a native of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania where he played football and baseball in high school. He played collegiate baseball at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) where he was a four-year letterman, voted team captain his senior year, and a multiple-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete. At the conclusion of his collegiate career, he signed a free agent contract with the St. Joseph Blacksnakes of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball. His professional career also included stints in the United League and Frontier League, including a Frontier League Championship Series appearance in 2007 with the Washington Wild Things. At the conclusion of his professional career after the 2009 season, he returned to IUP as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Crimson Hawks baseball team. During his coaching tenure at IUP from 2010-2013, he also served as an Assistant Coach with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Summer Baseball League under legendary Head Coach Mike Roberts, who was inducted into the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2015.
After graduating from IUP in 2012 with a Master’s Degree in Health and Physical Education, Alex continued his strength and conditioning career by accepting an internship position with the University of Pittsburgh’s Olympic Sports Staff. He then moved on to serve a similar role at Wofford College before accepting a position as a Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Kansas City Royals in December of 2013. He was assigned to the Burlington Royals of the Appalachian League (R) in 2014 and the Wilmington Blue Rocks of the Carolina League (Adv A) in 2015. Alex’s passion for optimal athlete performance landed him back in the classroom at Shenandoah University, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in December of 2020. Alex is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting
COLBY BETZ
Colby Betz, Rapsodo Certified
Colby grew up in Dillsburg PA where he attended Northern York County High School. While attending
Northern, he was a multiple time Mid Penn All Star in Baseball and Football playing shortstop, pitcher,
and quarterback. After graduating from Northern, he continued his academic and baseball career at The
Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). Colby had a very successful career at IUP as a starting pitcher
where he was a two-time 1 st Team All PSAC and All Region selection. The success at IUP earned him an
opportunity in 2008 to play in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League for Hyannis. The Cape Cod
Baseball League is known as the nation’s premiere collegiate summer league for amateur baseball. Upon
graduating from IUP, he pursued a career in Occupational Health and Safety, he currently works as a
Safety Director for a construction company in Harrisburg PA. Colby and his family currently reside in
York Springs, PA.
