Amber is a 2000 graduate of New Oxford High School where she is currently the school record holder of highest career batting average (.464) and single season batting average (.583) as well as career (63) and season (30) stolen bases at New Oxford. Amber continued her playing career at NCAA Division 1 Youngstown State University. After a four year college career, she became a graduate assistant at Allegheny College for a year. She then decided to return home in 2005 where she began teaching at South Western High School while coaching softball at the travel and high school levels along with giving private hitting lessons. Her passion is sharing her love for the game of softball with today’s youth.
